Outbound webhooks
Subscribe an endpoint to platform events — contact created, message delivered or failed, campaign sent, form submitted — and WeZend posts them to you in real time, HMAC-signed so you can verify they're genuine.
Your systems shouldn't have to poll WeZend to find out what happened. Outbound webhooks push the events to you: register an HTTPS endpoint, subscribe it to the event types you care about, and WeZend POSTs each event as it occurs. Every payload is HMAC-signed with your endpoint's secret, so you can verify it genuinely came from WeZend and hasn't been tampered with.
The available events cover the moments other systems usually need to react to — contact.created, contact.updated, message.delivered, message.failed, campaign.sent and form.submitted. Use them to sync a CRM, trigger a fulfilment step, log delivery to your warehouse, or alert on failures. This is the outbound half of the platform's API; combined with Connect AI and the REST API, WeZend fits into whatever you've already built.

How do I verify a webhook is really from WeZend?
Each request is signed with an HMAC of the timestamp and payload using your endpoint's secret. Recompute the signature on your side and compare — if it matches, it's genuine and untampered.
